Menu option: Documentation > LLD
This module includes a powerful, AI-powered LLD generator, that enables you to produce tailored LLDs at the push of a button. They are site-specific, sector-focussed, and easy to restructure and edit.
Make sure the Generate LLD tab is selected. Then, follow these steps to generate an LLD.
- At Select site IDs, select one or more Site IDs. Information from these sites will be extracted by AI to contribute to the LLD.
- At Document Title, enter the title of the LLD.
Click Next. The following screen opens:
- Select the sector type that this LLD is being produced for. This will determine the types of information that will be included in the LLD, and takes into account the commercial, regulatory and technical needs of the sector.
Click Next. The following screen opens:
Select the scope, audience and compliance framework for the LLD from the following options:
Detail Level - determines how detailed you want the LLD to be. Default is Technical Overview - Balanced Detail. You can increase the level of detail (Deep Dive - Exhaustive), or reduce it (Basic - High Level).
Target Audience - select from the drop-down list.
Compliance Framework - select from one of DISA-STIG, NIST SP 800-53 or PCI-DSS.Click Next. AI generates a Table of Contents from your selections, and displays it in the following screen:
If required, customise your Table of Contents options:
Click Select All to include all displayed section in the LLD, or click Clear All to exclude all displayed options from the LLD. You can also select or deselect individual sections for inclusion / exclusion using the check boxes.
Click Collapse All to display on the top level-headings, or click Expand All to display all heading levels. You can also collapse or expand individual sections using the arrow symbols.
Click Delete Selected to delete a section. Note that this will delete all currently selected section headings, so make sure only those section headings you want to delete have their check boxes selected. You must select at least one top level heading, or at least two sub-sections. You can also delete individual sections or sub-sections by clicking on the dustbin icon next to the section title.
Click Add Section to add a new section to the Table of Contents. This will be a top level section, and will be added at the end of the Table of Contents. You are asked to name the section.
If you want to add a sub-section to any top level section, click on the pen icon alongside the section title, then name and save the sub-section.
Click Next. The following screen opens:
Select the check boxes of those features that you want AI to generate as part of the LLD generation process. Options are:
Generate AI-powered network diagrams and visuals
Add educational explanations for technical concepts - these would usually be included for a less technical audience
Include STIG rule explanations with security context
Generate best practice recommendations - more likely to be included in a higher level LLD
Include comparison with industry benchmarks - more likely to be included in a commercially focussed LLD
- Click Generate LLD.
AI now generates your LLD from the information you supplied. You’ll see the following screen during generation:
The LLD compiles in the white area, with the progress bar shown above.
