Make sure the General tab is selected, and then the Naming Conventions tile.

Conventions are generated by AI from the device configuration information you upload. You can edit any parameters that don’t reflect the actual naming convention, and add new parameters as required.

This screen also displays an analysis of compliance with the naming conventions. Areas reported on are

• Discovered Conventions
• Compliance Rate
• Devices Analyzed
• Pattern Exception

To view, edit, delete or add parameters to existing conventions:

1. Scroll down to Naming Conventions. The following table opens:

   

2. Click on the down arrow of the Convention you want to work with. A screen similar to the following opens:

    

3. To edit the naming convention, click on the edit symbol and make the required edits. Click on Save Pattern when you've made the edits.
   To delete the naming convention, click on the dustbin symbol.
   
   To edit any of the displayed parameters, click on the three dots and then select Edit. Make the required changes, and then click the tick symbol.
   To delete any of the displayed parameters, click on the three dots and then select Delete, and then confirm deletion.
   
   To add a new parameter, click on Add Row and complete the new parameter.
