Menu option: InfoSec > Reconnaissance

Important: Make sure you are fully authorised to run these scans, as although they are non-intrusive, running reconnaissance without authorisation may violate internal policies or legal requirements

In the main Reconnaissance screen, select the Discover tab.

To schedule a scan, or to set up a series of automated scans, in the pane titled Schedule Reconnaissance Scan:

1. At Scan Name, enter a name for the scan.
2. At Scheduled Date and Scheduled Time, enter the start date and start time for the scan. This is the earliest date and time that the first scan can run, and if you do not select any other options, scans will run at the frequency you select in step 5, on a schedule set by this date and time.
3. [Optional] If required, select an End Date for this scan schedule. If you leave this blank, scans will continue to run for an indefinite period.
4. At Repeat Every, select the frequency of the scan. The frequency is measured in days, up to a maximum of every 99 days.
5. Click Schedule Scan. The scheduled scan displays in the Scheduled Reconnaissance Scans table.

   Click Schedule & Run Now. A scan starts to run straight away, and the scheduled scan displays in the Scheduled Reconnaissance Scans table.
