Menu option: Best Practice > Access Control
Select one or more Site IDs, and click Generate Mgmt Report. There are three parts to the Report:
- Widgets - give an overview of which protocols are in use across your network.
- Management Security Findings - This table lists Rule IDs, the severity and nature of the vulnerability, the affected devices, and any recommended remediation. Go to Management Security Findings
- Management Plane Security Best Practices - lists the commands you can use to configure security best practices for a number of security features. Go to Management Plane Security Best Practices
Management Security Findings
The table lists the following for each security vulnerability:
- Rule ID - Gives the NET- Rule ID number.
- Severity - The severity of the vulnerability. One of Critical, High, Medium or Low.
- Finding - Indicates the nature of the vulnerability, or the area affected.
- Affected Devices - indicates the number of devices affected by the vulnerability. For details on which devices are affected, scroll across to the Action column, and click on the eye symbol. The impacted devices are listed in the dialog box that opens.
- Remediation - Lists the actions you can take to mitigate the risk.
- Action - click to view a summary of the report, and a list of affected devices.
Click on the check box on the header row to select all of the table, or click on individual check boxes to select individual records. Then click Download Report to download the records in document or .csv format.
